The Flying Dutchmen are a trio of antagonists in Monster Buster Club.

Description

The Flying Dutchmen are a trio of robotic aliens who disguised themselves as a band of heavy metal rockers. They are armed with electroshock weapons which double as guitars, as well as an electronic keyboard capable of putting anyone into a state of hypnosis.

History

The Flying Dutchmen first appeared in the episode Battle of the Bands, where they played their hit song "Drain Your Brain" at a concert. With their song, they successfully brainwashed everyone who attended their first concert into shoplifting. With the stolen goods, each of the hypnotised attendees built individual parts of The Flying Dutchmen's superweapon, which is shaped like an electric guitar. They planned on using the superweapon to amplify their song so that they can brainwash the rest of the world into doing their bidding.

The Flying Dutchmen were defeated by the Monster Buster Club towards the end of the episode. The two guitar players were electrocuted after their weapons were shot at, while the band leader was eventually taken down by the negative force field generated by Chris's giant reverse-engineered alien-tech earmuff.
